I challenge you to go to their site: http://www.alsa.org/about-als/ and post something that you didn’t already know about ALS – it can be anything!
By educating ourselves, and those around us, we will become a stronger, more unified community. I can’t beat this disease by myself, so I need your help to become a better advocate for those living with ALS. I will share all of the info that each of you share – it’s that easy to learn together, start a movement, and make a huge impact.
The ALS Association’s mission is: To discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
Pretty cool, right? There’s an entire association dedicated to helping me navigate the effects of this ridiculous disease! We’re talking research, support groups, financial assistance, educational webinars and forums, public policy gatherings, and so much more.
The ALS community needs your help to put an end to this devastating disease. When you participate, advocate, and donate, you advance the fight to find the cure and lead us toward a world without ALS!
