Well, the day is finally here: Jaci and I are Boston bound for the Patients Like Me study.

PatientsLikeMe is committed to putting patients first. We do this by providing a better, more effective way for you to share your real-world health experiences in order to help yourself, others and advance research.

You know SunnyStrong is big on research, advocacy, and educating others so this trip is huge for our efforts in those areas. The opportunity to contribute to research is one I will jump on every chance I get. God opened this door, and thankfully Jaci was able to get away to come with me. Did I tell you she just got engaged?

So I’m sure we’ll find something to talk about while we’re gone 🙂 

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we navigate this disease together. Hopefully this weekend opens even more doors for answers. Regardless of the outcome, a weekend away with my best frannn and a hotdog at Fenway while the Red Sox play the Yankees will be good for the soul.
