It’s been 15+ years since I rode in the Old Settlers Reunion Parade in Hico. Thursday night was one for the nostalgia books and goodness it was fun.

July is insanely hot, thankfully the parade route wasn’t as long as it used to be. Huge thank you to Cindy and Mah for decorating and handling out candy, Tom and Jim for loaning the coolest car in the sunniest color, and Quinn for being my handler for the weekend. Hico has loved and supported me since I was 8 years old. If you don’t know the feeling of love from a small town, come home with me sometime and I’ll show you.

ANNND we won a trophy for best in show in the classic car division. And it was my Cindy’s birthday 🎈
