Rain couldn’t stop our party. The brides were stunning. The day was beautiful. I have a new sister, y’all!

It was an honor and privilege to officiate their wedding, I’ve included the ceremony below so you can be part of their day.

Prayer – Dear Heavenly Father we gather today in your presence to ask for your blessing on the marriage of Amanda and Casey. We thank you for calling us to love one another as you first loved us. We lift up this marriage and ask that you help each of us remember this feeling that surrounds us today, this undeniable feeling of love, and the reassurance that you are present for this union. We ask forgiveness for when we fail you, and thank you for your countless blessings. In your sons name we pray, amen.

Welcome – It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to witness the love of my Casey and her sweet Amanda. Amanda – Casey, Your love story is a tale as old as time:

• girl meets girl at dentist office
• girl introduces girl to the sanctity of tacos and margaritas
• girl submerges girl into crazy family
• girl and girl live happily ever after with a circus of grey animals and peachy

I speak for everyone here today when I say that we love you. We look at you and we see you together and it just works, it fits, and we know its going to last forever. The love y’all share is inspiring, it is a reassurance of the examples of love that have gone before us – those present today, and those remembered. With love, anything can be accomplished – and each of us is here today to love you, to support you, and to invest in your future together.
