It’s been a hot minute since we checked in with each other, huh? I apologize for our abrupt disappearance, and look forward to getting down to the nitty gritty very soon. I have A LOT to catch y’all up on, things have been crazy on the home front, in all the best ways possible.

Sometimes taking a break from something you love is necessary. It helps to bring perspective as you find your way back to the reason you began in the first place. This blog has brought me many things: sanity, connection with others near and far, opportunity to give a voice for those who no longer have one, and given the world a different way to view this terminal disease. My hope is that y’all will continue on this journey with me, and continue to love and support us in our flavor of crazy.

As soon as Kenneth and I return from Cancun, we’ll get reacquainted, caught up, and moving forward. It’s going to be great.
